Fit: generally true to street shoe size; the leather will soften and mold to your feet with wear, so they should feel snug-but-comfortable when new.
If you have a narrow foot or prefer a very secure, “locked-in” performance fit, you may like going a half size down.
If you have a wider foot or high instep, stick with your regular street size and pair with your usual dance socks/tights.
Ideal fit: toes lie flat and close to the end of the shoe, with no painful pressure points, so you can really dig into your sounds without sliding inside the shoe.

Tap Maintenance: Check the taps regularly for tightness. Use a screwdriver to tighten any loose screws.
Regular Cleaning: Wipe the leather upper with a damp cloth after each use to remove dirt and sweat.
Leather Conditioning: Apply a leather conditioner periodically to keep the leather supple and prevent cracking.
